Business notes for April 4 – Brainerd Dispatch

The Brainerd Lakes Chamber of Commerce’s networking event Business After Hours April 13 is set at The Pavilion at Madden’s on Gull Lake.

Networking, light food sampling featuring restaurants at Madden’s, yard games, and cash bar will be included along with information on the resorts’ history and future plans during the host interview with Ben Thuringer, chief operating officer, and Matt Kilian, Brainerd Lakes Chamber president.

Attendance at the free event is limited to 250 guests to ensure social distancing. All COVID-19 executive orders and guidelines will be followed. As a courtesy to the host, advanced registration is recommended. There will also be an interview with the host at 5:30 p.m. on Facebook. In case of inclement weather, the event will be at Wilson Bay Lodge at Madden’s.

The social time begins at 4:40 p.m. with a 5:20 p.m. welcome and introductions, 5:30 p.m. host interview followed by drawings for prizes.

The Cuyuna Lakes Chamber of Commerce and Ruttger’s Bay Lake Resort are hosting the second Business After Hours of the year as the Cuyuna Lakes Chamber is back to meeting in person for its social networking event.

This session is 5-7 p.m. April 15 at Rutter’s Bay Lake Lodge, at Zig’s Restaurant, 25039 Tame Fish Lake Road, Deerwood. Ruttger’s will be providing a smorgasbord of appetizers. All attendees will have a turn to pass the mic and talk about their business updates.
