This fall’s Maroon Effect game will coincide with Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 16
BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech’s annual Maroon Effect game will coincide with Homecoming this season as the Hokies host Pitt on Saturday, Oct. 16.
Virginia Tech athletics partners with the Undergraduate Student Senate (formerly Student Government Association) to execute Hokie Effect experiences for all fans in attendance at Lane Stadium. Click here to purchase this fall’s Maroon Effect T-shirt.
Interested in attending this season’s Maroon Effect and Homecoming game? There are several options available, including:
- Season tickets – Starting at just $50 per game, enjoy exclusive benefits while saving money compared to mini plans and individual game tickets
- 540 Zone season tickets – Package of two season tickets available exclusively to Hokies within a 75-mile radius of Blacksburg
- Flex tickets – Tickets that can be redeemed in any combination for any of Tech’s home games (excluding Notre Dame)
- 3-game mini plans – Pick any three games to attend and build your own mini plan (excluding Notre Dame)
Virginia Tech director of athletics Whit Babcock announced Monday, June 14 that Lane Stadium will operate at 100 percent capacity for football games in 2021. Tech athletics will continue to work within all guidelines mandated by the Commonwealth of Virginia, in addition to abiding by all health and safety precautions recommended by University and local health officials.
