Marco has acquired an Illinois copier and printer company.
Marco acquired All/Pro Office Technology of Alton, Illinois in July. Marco’s sales and service team based in Fenton, Missouri, will handle All/Pro’s clients.
“I wanted my customers who have become my friends, to continue getting the same great service or even better than All/Pro has provided them for 29 years,” Bill Moyer, a founder of All/Pro Office Technology, said in a press release from Marco.
Marco’s first expansion into Illinois was in 2014 when the company purchased Illinois Valley Business Equipment.
“We are pleased to expand in our Illinois market with the acquisition of All/Pro Ofice Technology,” Marco CEO Doug Albregts said in the release.
Marco is an integrated technology provider that specializes in copiers/printers, business IT services and more. The company has about 30,000 clients, 1,200 employees and more than 50 locations.
New board members appointed for Big Brothers Big Sisters
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota has three new board members and has also recently elected new officers for the board.
New board members include:
- Khaldoun Ahmad of St. Cloud Technical & Community College
- Isaih Handy of North Central Truck Accessories, Inc.
- Emmanuel Oppong of City of St. Cloud (Mayor’s Office)

“We are honored to have a strong, diverse board with a broad array of expertise,” Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota Executive Director Jackie Scholl Johnson said in a press release.
Newly elected officers are:
- President: Alex Schoephoerster, Moss & Barnett
- Vice President: Rick Roehl, Federated Insurance
- Secretary: Patty Funk, Marco (retired)
- Treasurer: Courtney Kunkel, Capital One
- Past President: Vicky Welty, SCR
- DEI Officer: Peggy Brown, DEI
Welty also received a Friend of the Youth award from the St. Cloud Morning Optimist Club in July “for her longtime support and advocacy for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program,” according to the release.
DAYTA Marketing has a new chief technology officer
The DAYTA Marketing leadership team now includes Daine Billmark, who stepped into the role of chief technology officer in July.
In his new role, Billmark is responsible for “leading the development of DAYTA Marketing’s platform technology to enhance client visibility and control of marketing data,” according to a release from the company.
Billmark has a background in custom web applications and predictive analytics, according to the release, and before coming to DAYTA, he oversaw a 40-person team at TransUnion.
DAYTA Marketing provides marketing services to small and medium-sized businesses.
Local composter adds full-time employees
Cold Spring’s Mississippi Topsoils has two new full-time employees as a result of new growth spurred by elevated garden product sales during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Logan Payne started with Mississippi Topsoils in November 2020 as an operations coordinator, according to a July press release from the company.
Maija Eickhoff worked as a part-time employee for the company in 2020 but as of June 2021 also became a full-time operations coordinator.
The company now has the most employees (five full-time and a dozen part-time) since it began 24 years ago, and will be working to add more automated components and reduce operational waste.
Mississippi Topsoils is a Minnesota-based composter that provides soil products.
