Memphis People in Business: Sept. 9, 2021 – Commercial Appeal

Here’s a look at promotions, hirings, movers and newsmakers in the Memphis area business scene:

Lehman-Roberts Co. and its sister company Memphis Stone & Gravel promoted Roy Rothenberger to sales manager. He will lead sales efforts across both companies.

The Salvation Army of Memphis & the Mid-South in July transitioned to new leadership as Captains Mark and Lorie Hunter took the reins as area commanders. They assumed the positions as Majors Marion and Everette Platt relocated to Charleston, South Carolina, to take on roles outside the organization to be closer to family.

Omar Aquil and Season Caulkins recently had a ribbon-cutting to herald in the opening of their new family-operated Spherion Memphis office. Spherion is a staffing and recuiting business. The ceremony was conducted through the Greater Memphis Chamber and sponsored by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and First Horizon.
