WEST CHESTER TWP. – More than 100 businesses will be represented at this year’s Regional Business Expo hosted by the West Chester/Liberty Chamber Alliance.
Set for noon to 4 p.m., July 13, at Lakota West High School, the expo will feature businesses along the Interstate 75 corridor from Dayton to northern Kentucky.
“We’re back in business – the entire region is back. We’re ready. Businesses are ready; it’s the time to do it,’’ said Joe Hinson, the chamber’s president and chief executive officer.
“We are excited to welcome back our members and other business professionals to in-person events. We’re ready to officially say ‘We’re open for business’ and thrilled to, once again, connect people and possibilities.”
There is no admission to the event, which is open to the public as well as business owners, employees, and entrepreneurs.
Unlike past business expos, there will not be the sampling of food luncheon or speaker to kick off the event, due to COVID-19 restrictions at the time the expo was being planned.
However, there will be several food trucks on-site from which to purchase food. West Chester Hospital staff will offer health screening, and Ali Wolfe Photography will offer professional headshots.
Among the exhibitors are retailers, service providers, health-related industries, financial institutions, restaurants, hotels, educational institutions and non-profits.
“West Chester and Liberty townships have done very well during the pandemic – West Chester on business; Liberty on residential,’’ Hinson said.
“That’s because they both have a diversity of businesses and you’ll see that at the expo. We’ve learned some things over the past year in order to move forward that could become best practices. You’ll see that at the expo.”
Donations will also be accepted for the Stuff the Bus event that collects school supplies for the Cincinnati Children’s Liberty Community Advisory Back to School Backpack and School Supply giveaway.
Among the supplies requested are earbuds with an audio jack, hand sanitizer, tissues, Ziploc bags, pencil pouches, and headphones.
