Vanderbilt defeated Georgia Tech 14-11 in 11 innings.
Vanderbilt, the No. 1 seed in the regional, improved to 43-15 overall. Georgia Tech ended the season 31-25 overall.
Vanderbilt advanced to the NCAA Tournament Super Regionals against East Carolina.

Vanderbilt right fielder Isaiah Thomas hit a grand slam home run over the left-field fence in the top of the 11th inning. Jack Bulger, Dominic Keegan, and CJ Rodriguez also scored on the grand slam. Thomas’ homer gave Vanderbilt a 13-9 lead against Georgia Tech.

GT’s Drew Compton solo home run
Georgia Tech designated hitter Drew Compton hit a solo home run over the left-field wall in the bottom of the ninth inning. Compton’s home run tied the game 9-9 with Vanderbilt.
Vandy’s Dominic Keegan solo home run
Vanderbilt first baseman Dominic Keegan hit a solo home run over the left-center field fence in the top of the eighth inning. His homer put Vanderbilt ahead of Georgia Tech 9-8.
Vandy’s Jayson Gonzalez solo home run
Vanderbilt third baseman Jayson Gonzalez hit a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning. The homer tied the game 8-8 with Georgia Tech.
GT’s Stephen Reid 3-run home run
Georgia Tech right fielder Stephen Reid hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning. Andrew Jenkins and Justyn-Henry Malloy also scored on the home run. Reid’s homer put Georgia Tech ahead 8-7 vs. Vanderbilt.
Enrique Bradfield Jr. stolen base No. 4
Vanderbilt leadoff hitter Enrique Bradfield Jr. recorded his fourth stolen base of the game against Georgia Tech in the top of the fourth inning.
Vandy’s Troy LaNeve solo home run
Vanderbilt left fielder Troy LaNeve hit a solo home run over the right-center field fence in the top of the fourth inning. His homer tied the game 3-3 with Georgia Tech.
Dominic Keegan diving catch
Vanderbilt first baseman Dominic Keegan made a diving catch to retire Tres Gonzalez for the final out in the bottom of the second inning.
