Verdesian Continues to Bolster Specialty Micronutrient Business – CropLife

Specialty micronutrients continue to grow in importance and necessity in agriculture. In recognition of this, Verdesian Life Sciences continues to make strategic moves to emphasize this part of its business structure.

Verdesian has introduced Josh Adams and Marissa Mann as Technical Product Managers. Josh’s territory includes the eastern Cornbelt and eastern Canada, while Marissa will serve a territory of the western Cornbelt and the western U.S.

“The additions of Josh and Marissa bolster an already impressive stable of micronutrient experts here at Verdesian,” said Jake Socherman, Vice President of Sales – Specialty Micronutrients. “We are positioned better than ever to provide real-time technical, product and sales assistance to this crucial category for growers and retailers.”

Josh comes to Verdesian from Compass Minerals Plant Nutrition, where he was a Strategic Account Manager for the East region of the U.S. Prior to that he worked as a Territory Sales Manager for Compass. His career also includes just less than a decade with Dow AgroSciences, in a variety of roles.

Marissa joins Verdesian after spending the past four years, also with Compass, where she worked as a Strategic Accounts Manager for the West region and as a Nebraska territory manager. Prior to that she worked as a Sales Agronomist with Cargill/Crop Production Services.

The Verdesian micronutrient team also includes Jill Hanson and Brandon Sheridan as Technical Product Managers. Jill handles the central Cornbelt, while Brandon services the southern U.S., from Texas to Virginia.
